What is tagged, and what is not

Maths and computing lessons carry the code they answer to - US Common Core, the UK National Curriculum, CSTA for computing and AI4K12 for the AI strand - and the chip above each question names it, so the record your child builds can be checked rather than taken on trust.

The other lands are organised by topic while that tagging is finished. Where a unit has no verified code, the curriculum screen says “not mapped to a standard yet” rather than printing one that does not exist. A code nobody has checked is worse than no code, because it invites a reviewer to look it up.

Three levels of every unit

Every quiz unit is written three times over - Gentle, Standard and Challenge - on the same ground and against the same standard. Gentle asks it one step at a time with the distractors pulled apart. Challenge asks it at Year 4-6 depth: place value, Roman numerals, verbal reasoning, food chains, fair testing.

You choose the level per subject, so a child can be stretched in maths and supported in reading in the same week. Families preparing for the eleven-plus can pick the UK Grammar School sub-track, which asks the Challenge tier everywhere it exists.

Computing is a real subject here

• Code Cove, from five. Sequence, repeat, loop, condition, debugging. The first two units are entirely unplugged - telling a grown-up how to make a jam sandwich, and a repeating pattern of beads on a string. Neither needs reading.
• AI Academy, from seven. What a machine actually does, teaching one by example, when it gets things wrong, and how to ask it well. One activity has the child train a real classifier, watch it call grass a leaf, and fix it with one more example.
